NCC’s early swimmers Centre is a modern four-lane, 18-metre swimming pool complex attached to Nambour Christian College and our Nambour NCC early learners. It is heated 32 degrees all year, ensuring year-round swimming.
Opened in 2016, the centre offers individual, and group swim lessons for babies from six months of age through to adults, as well as stroke technique lessons and swim squad training.
All children who enrol in our early learning centres (Buderim and Woombye) have the opportunity to attend weekly learn to swim lessons from 2.5/3 years of age.
All other students attending Nambour Christian College can participate in age/skill appropriate learn-to-swim lessons, swim/stroke technique lessons, and mini squad training to develop swimming endurance and swim school intensives on the school holidays.
Living on the Sunshine Coast, close to beaches, dams and other waterways it is essential our children are proficient swimmers.
NCC is committed to all students having the skills to safely enjoy swimming and to pursue swimming as a sport if that is their desire. Our swimming programs complement the Sunshine Coast lifestyle, paving the way for children to join their local nippers and surf clubs.
All our swim teaching staff are qualified with an aquatic teaching certificate (AustSwim or Swim Australia) and we have six swim coaches on staff.
