At NCC, we believe in the potential of every child, which is why we invest heavily in an enriching co-curricular program that for many students, result in life-affirming and life-changing experiences.
Our expansive program covers the arts, sport, music and dance, animal husbandry, outdoor education and personal development, cultural development and services to humanity.
A number of these activities are delivered in outstanding purpose-built facilities by specialist teachers, and encourage creativity, critical thinking and self-confidence. Others take place across Australia, Asia, the Pacific and Africa and provide many other valued benefits as you will discover when you click through to the relevant pages.
Students of all abilities are encouraged to partake in these rewarding activities. They provide students with a valuable opportunity to discover their individual strengths and passions and to consider ways in which they can lead and serve others both within and outside the school community.
Through these co-curricular pursuits, our students have become highly regarded for their achievements and on a personal level, find out more about who they are and what they want to be (purpose). As you will discover, at NCC we offer a broad range of experiences, seldom offered elsewhere.
While these co-curricular activities are designed with our students in mind, they also enrich and enhance the lives of parents and teachers at NCC.
Indeed, the work we do in Service and Cultural trips is a passion for many of our staff. The many projects that we are involved in receive outstanding support and financial contribution from our staff community, providing a means for staff – and school families – to enact Christ’s love and ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you.’ (Luke 6:31)
