Preparing students for a successful future starts at a young age. A strong curriculum combined with a stimulating learning environment has seen NCC consistently achieve outstanding academic results, and young people excited about their futures.
At NCC, students develop practical skills across eight key learning areas, partake in a range of sporting, outdoor education and arts activities, and learn to live according to Christian values. While these values remain consistent with the teachings of Christ, our dynamic curriculum is always evolving to ensure students receive an education that is in sync with a fast-changing world.
Our school is divided into three sub-schools with highly targeted and diverse educational offerings suitable for each age group, complemented by vocational offerings for older students. Some of our subject offerings are unique for a Sunshine Coast school, ensuring a quality and expansive education.
The curriculum provides students with a solid education and provides enough choices for students to pursue tertiary studies or more practical endeavours. In this way, NCC covers all bases for the varied interests of children within the one family.
We encourage students to achieve their personal best in all areas of their education and work with parents to ensure each child receives the support they need. To encourage the personal development of students, the curriculum focuses on individual work as well as teamwork.
Junior School
Incorporating Prep, our Junior School sets the foundation for future learning. Key learning areas are delivered through hands-on, practical activities and complemented through inter-school sport, excursions, camps, computing and music.
Learn MoreMiddle School
The first Middle School on the Sunshine Coast, our program responds to the unique learning needs of students in Years 7, 8 and 9. The innovative curriculum has a practical, activity-based focus designed to challenge and engage young adolescents.
